This 3 CD disk set of TurboCAD Architectural Tutorial teaches you how to design single and two-story homes from start to finish. Now included is a bonus tutorial CD which teaches you how to calculate structural loads
The development of this Tutorial came from an architectural Drafting and Design company in Arizona who use TurboCAD to design custom home plans. The tutorials which run about 5 hours are broken down into several "mini movies" that can be easily viewed and learned. The tutorial begins by showing how to install the architectural files and templates and then move on to designing a house from start to finish. The following are the plans within the tutorial:

- Building Section
- Electrical Plan
- 2nd Story Plan (New!)
Template
This architectural tutorial is set up such that the viewports and paper space of the TurboCAD files are all pre-defined; as well as model space being divided up into seperate drawing areas. As you draw in the template that entity will only show up on the appropriate paper space page, ie. drawing a truss, would automatically show up on the "roof plan" and the layers are "ordered " so that the truss will automatically appear to be sitting on top of the walls, and the roof text will be in front of the trusses. As the drawing is finished in model space, all the sheets of the set are finished in paper space other than cleaning up the viewports, modifying the job name, etc.
